Constructive comments, including constructive criticism, are welcome, but comments by trolls, comments that obviously and demonstrably ignore the actual text that they are responding to, and comments that are abusive or offensive, are subject to deletion and/or public ridicule at my whim.     Hello,Neal,

    I don’t know if you remember me, but I’m Jon Robbins’ mom. I still enjoy your writing even though the main reason I started reading it was because I wanted to keep up with Jon and he wouldn’t always let me know how life was in Georgia. You painted a true picture, which I appreciated.

    I especially love your “Joyful” poem and I will start saying “Be Joyful” to my friends. If we hear that enough,then we will start to believe and practice it.

    I’m glad your host family situation seems promising. Imagine living just around the corner from your work! I’m sure that rarely happens in NYC.
